Sinus Lift

This procedure makes it easier to place dental implants in cases where patients need dental implants but have suffered a bone loss of more than 5mm in the posterior area of the maxilla. This creates complications and by performing sinus lift/augmentation, our patients can get the support they need to proceed with their mouth restoration plan.

Sinus lifts are suited for patients up to 50 years old. We do not advise younger patients to resort to this procedure immediately, before trying to find another suitable treatment. Our implantologists perform a bone opening, place an artificial bone and then PRF is applied to the floor of the sinus. This allows for more space for implants and better retention.

Tools and Technology

Our dental surgeons use non-allergic artificial bone and PRF from the patient's blood to create a result as natural as possible with the shortest healing time span. Pain or discomfort following surgery normally goes away after four days.

How much does it cost?

Price depends on the treatment plan chosen for your needs. Contact us for more.

How long will my procedure last?

The procedure will last only 3-5 days, a couple of hours per day.

Do I have to repeat the procedure?

No, you don’t have to repeat this procedure, unless the treatment fails to be permanent in the patient’s mouth.

Is there a next prevention phase?

If the patient doesn’t do sinus augmentation on time, they can experience further bone loss. Then, the placement of an implant is advised in the added bone.
