Teeth cleaning

The Ultrasonic teeth cleaning procedure is suitable for every patient older than 5 years and up to 65 years old. For children under the age of 5 , we use conventional cleaning methods, such as cleaning with gauze or brushes for children from the moment the first tooth comes out. Teeth cleaning avoids the formation of plaque and stones that result in bad breath. It also avoids gum inflammation and the formation of pockets.

Regular cleaning is recommended but it is especially necessary for:

  • People suffering from diabetes
  • People with a tendency to gingivitis/ periodontitis (every 3-6 months)
  • Prosthetic works (every 3-6 months)
  • Smokers
  • People with orthodontic appliances such as braces, retainers, rubberbands, etc.
  • This process should be performed every 6-12 months for patients with regular hygiene without periodontitis.

Tools and Technology
We use Oral-B interdental floss and superfloss, AirFlow therapy, non-abrasive detergent paste, and alcohol-free mouthwash.

We also use dedicated tools for a thorough manual cleaning. Finally, we perform a periodontal pocket control, scaling and root planing.

How much does it cost?

How long will my procedure last?

The procedure lasts 20 minutes.

Do I have to repeat the procedure?

It is recommended to repeat the procedure every 3-6 months.

Is there a next prevention phase?

If the patient doesn’t undergo the treatment on time or has a poor cleaning treatment, it creates an unpleasant mouth odor, yellow teeth, gum bleeding, tooth decay. If the patient plans to have implants, it will negatively affect their placement, leading to failure.

Brush your teeth at least twice a day and ideally after each meal, accompanied by the use of interdental floss and mouthwashes. For best results, you can use equipment such as water flossers, as they are very effective for tartar removal, eliminating food particles, and plaque.
